Black Whole (unIdentified Level)

So…

They have returned and they’re not even on Another Level… They are on an Unidentified Level. That is the name of the follow up album to BlackWhole’s highly successful first offering; Another Level. The boys have been very busy. The question remains will this new album reach the heights that their first mainstream album reached. Let’s take a closer look at this new level they have reached.

Black Whole has put a lot of work into the album. The experiment with a lot of sounds and they fuse different genres. It’s very hard to classify the type of music on the album. It’s still dance music but on another… I mean Unidentified Level.

From the first track on the CD, you already know that you are not going to get your normal run of the mill house music CD. Their sound has more of an international appeal. It’s still banging… because I’m still nodding my head 20 minutes after I stopped playing the CD. The sound is clean and fresh; however it will still have you dancing. My favorites on the album are Forget featuring Victoria and Let Them Go also featuring Victoria (which should be a certified dance floor filler). Whether, be it on a long drive to a very far off place or when you’re chilling with your constituents; it’s going to be enjoyed. I’m sure you’ll even get the ever popular question “who is this?”. And they should know.

Whether you enjoy soulful music or deep house or even a bit of electro, you’ll have something to savor on this album. It’s quality. It clearly shows the versatility of the BlackWhole production team. One to have.

I’d give it 4 out of 5.
