v_dot is one of the founding members of Session One… Sounds Infinite. He is a DJ, Producer and mananger for the Session One Collective.
v_dot is also part of the Back Opposite Team on Y-FM (Weekends - 12AM to 3AM). He is a content producer and mix DJ for the show hosted by Stapora.
The music?
v_dot plays a variety of genres of music… i reckon anything that you can think of from lounge, hip hop, fusion, jungle, dance hall and house.
“I’m inspired by a variety of music and producers. At times it’s frustrating because I would like to listen and make music the whole day.”
From Deep House to Hip Hop and Lounge. His Soundtrack is vast and he actually believes that music is the love of his life.
“I would rather work on something in studio than do anything else. It’s either i’m working on a track or i’m working on a mix or sourcing out new music.”
In terms of procution, look out for the “Lounging @ Home” series… to be released under Session One. It’s compilations of all the work done by the Session One Collective.

Stretch aka Thami “Camouflaged Chameleon” Tshabalala was born 24/10/1981 in Diepkloof Soweto. The Face and Representive of Session One started playing 2003 and has never looked back. When asked about what inspired him to venture into music he states that “the love for the music drove me towards the light”. This guiding light has seen him play at different venues across all spectrums from corporate events to parties in the deepest darkest parts of Soweto.
His love affair with music started with Hip Hop and his travels opened him up to different new sounds including house. In his true element, Strech is an entertainer, so he is adaptable to any audience. When asked on how he is keeps grounded he says that: “it’s all due to the music I play, it brings me closer to God and through that develops me to be a better person”. He further says that: “His love for the music also helped him to appreciate the arts more”. For him, it not about status of the title “DJ”, it’s about love.
In terms of what is in store from the Chameleon in the not too distant future. Look out for Nothing Fancy. You’re going to be kitted out by the Chameleon.

Itumeleng (BoBBi) Mokwena is
Basically taking it back to where it all began when he plays one feels like time travelling.
Born 10 December 1982… this young blood has come a long way.
B.o.B has managed to build a home within Session One & is planning on making that home a mansion of realness.
His love for music began at an early age, back when TDK was the future & radio was your best friend.
His Fuel for life is: “Nothing is as easy as it looks & everything takes longer than you think”!
Those are the words he grew-up on, hence he strives to make everything out of nothing.
Musical influence is the best thing to ever happen to man, He might be a diverse individual but he stresses that HIP HOP made him this way (it opended other dimensions)
& encouraged him to do better than the day before.
Now he goes from, Hip Hop to Lounge to House, blending it all into an embient soundscape & it’s all because he beleives the mind has to adjust only then will everything fall into place!
